Halogen ovens are great. They let you cook healthy meals in a fraction of the time of a conventional oven - and they use less energy too.
They are compact enough to fit right on top of your kitchen counter, and they come with all the accessories that you'll need to get started.
As mentioned, they are small and compact, but you do need to allow a little "working room" as well as the basic footprint of the oven itself. For example, you need to have somewhere to set down the lid when you want to access whatever it is that you're cooking.
Most suppliers provide a special stand for this, so it's not a big problem. However, if you have a very small amount of space in your kitchen, you might struggle to set the hot lid down safely.
In such a case, you might want to have a look at halogen ovens with hinged lids. The lids just open up - so there's no need to worry about setting it down safely in a cramped space.
